Stringer Office
Step into the new office of Tom Stringer Design Partners in the iconic Palmolive Building, and you might mistake it for one of the luxury penthouses that line Michigan Avenue. This intentional design choice seamlessly blends comfortable furnishings with antiques and touches of home, creating a tailored workspace that mirrors the tastes of both the designers and their high-end residential clients.
Located on the third floor above Louis Vuitton, the office welcomes employees and guests into a grand salon adorned with cozy sofas and rotating art collections. The kitchen, resembling a chic café with banquette seating, leads to a dining room where the team gathers for family-style lunches—a practice that fosters camaraderie and creativity.
Stringer's emphasis on light, bright, and white creates an ever-evolving backdrop for creativity, with accents of blue flowing throughout the interior and the expansive terrace. Quality lighting and a neutral background serve practical functions, allowing the team to analyze textiles, fabrics, and colors without distractions.
The move to the Palmolive Building, following a gut rehab in 2017, provided room for growth and unexpected shifts in foot traffic. Now, local clients drop in to say hello, drawn by the inviting atmosphere and central location. For those flying in, the neighboring Four Seasons Hotel offers convenient accommodations, allowing clients to immerse themselves in a space that epitomizes their design goals.
At Premiere Systems, we understand the importance of creating workspaces that inspire creativity and collaboration. By integrating smart business technology, we can elevate office environments to new heights, offering seamless control over lighting, climate, and audiovisual systems. As technology continues to evolve, so too will our commitment to creating intelligent, sophisticated spaces that reflect the needs and desires of our clients.
